Apparently...

I'm now an attorney.

Yes, miracle of all miracles...I somehow passed the bar exam.

No joke.

Graduating from law school...studying for the exam...after the test...at all times, I was 100% convinced I wasn't going to pass.

It's one of the few things I've been absolutely sure about in my life.

Shortly before the pass list was posted online, I received an email from the King County Bar Association inviting me to the upcoming swearing-in ceremony.

I though to myself, "Well, it's kinda mean that they send that email to people who don't pass!"

In fact, I think I owe numerous friends $100 because I bet them I wouldn't pass.

Oh man...I still can't believe it!

I feel like there's a good chance that someone made a mistake along the way...but I'll take it.

  3. Congrats Julie! It's hard to believe the friend I used to goof around with on high school band trips is so accomplished! Well actually, not that hard to believe. What kind of law will you be practicing (and where?)

    1. Thanks, Gina! And look at your accomplishments! What a beautiful family! As far as practicing goes, that's still quite up in the air. Ideally, I'd either find something international or maybe immigration law back in Seattle.
