After a few months in the isolated mountains of Lesotho, the beach...and a city that has more than one road... is a very welcome sight.
The Indian Ocean...Apparently the prevailing belief is that the Indian Ocean is teeming with sharks...evidenced by the numerous texts I received telling me not to go in.
No, I was not eaten by one...didn't even feel a nibble.
The stadium in the background was built for the 2010 World Cup.

Yes, we had cheesecake for breakfast...we had to get in all the good food we could before our return to our little mountain town.
I'm reminded of a certain trip to Hawaii with a certain group of mischievous teenagers about 12 years ago...there's nothing quite like a trip to the beach with your best friends.
