Since I graduated from college, I have had the immense privilege of moving all around the country...and now the world, I guess...and meeting and making many wonderful, inspiring, and improbable new friends.
Exploring new places and meeting new people refreshes and strengthens me.
Of course, the downside of moving is leaving these people and places I have grown to love.
And because I'm terrible at keeping in touch with people, I don't always maintain these friendships in the ways that I wish I could.
One of my dear friends from high school, Gina, recently wrote a blog post about her experiencing loving and leaving friends.
If you'd like, you can read it here - Holding the Distaff: I Miss You People.
So to all my family and friends I have met along the way...
I miss you.
I love you.
Thank you for your support.
It means more to me than I can express.
Thank you for being in my life.
Julie! This blog is fantastic--now I can spy on all of your world wanderings. I only wish I'd known about it sooner. Thanks for being my friend--I truly miss you! We'll meet up one of these days...
