Almost immediately after graduating from college, I moved to New York City. I really don't think it would have been possible for me to have been any more excited! Prior to the big move, I'd been to New York City twice; needless to say, The Madre had to drag me on to the plane both times. Although I didn't know a soul before I moved, I found three of the MOST FANTASTIC roommates through my job. While I was only in the city for a year, it was the MOST WONDERFUL year. Things I love about New York City: the subway | central park | endless visits from friends who wanted to see New York | new york road runners club | teach for america | site-seeing | broadway | magnolia bakery (the original) | walking instead of taking the subway | crazy night out on the town | wonderful friends | wonderful roommates: eric, lindsay, and andrea | running in the park | the tram | patsy's | accomplice: new york | the museums | endless visits from The Madre | wine and cheese parties | sunday night dinners at trelis | reading on the subway on the way to work |
The Madre and I try to take a long weekend trip to New York every year to see what's new on Boardway, stroll through the park, and oh-so-many other fun things...what lucky girls we are!
