Gray provides a short introduction to each element accompanied by photos of the element in all different forms. And while, this is a book about the elements, it is hilarious! Okay, it's hilarious in a dorky science geek kind of way...but it's hilarious non-the-less.
Like I mentioned I bought a copy for my padre for Christmas and he proceeded to buy a copy for nearly everyone we know shortly thereafter.
Although, I've read through it a couple of times now, I still picked up on occasion for a little science knowledge and a quick chuckle.
