Momentum

My adjustment to life in Lesotho has been remarkably smooth.

How could you not be happy when you get to spend most of your day here with all these little ones:

I love each moment I spend in the playroom.

I love waking up to the sun illuminating the mighty Drakenburgs, the mountain range that surrounds Mokhotlong.

I love wandering through the mountains and along the river.

But up until now, I've felt a little lost in the actual work I've been doing at TTL.

Like any new job, it's been a difficult transition to find my place and feel like I'm making a contribution.

I think this feeling was exacerbated by the lack of internet...I couldn't really explore all the documents on the server, work on any of our social media, or look for any new funding sources.

Poor Rachel...I had to bug her every ten minutes, asking for a new task.

But today was a good day!

I left like I contributed.

I really just figured out a few little things on my own...nothing monumental.

But it felt good.

I feel like I have a little momentum now.
