Recently this article, authored by a former Peace Corps volunteers, appeared in the Huffington Post.
It discusses the immense feelings of failure that all Peace Corps volunteers deal with.
I can very much relate to these feelings because of my experiences with Teach For America.
I reflect on the time I spent teaching often.
Each day I learn more from those experiences.
I went into teaching, the most demanding experience of my life, with a nearly empty gas tank.
I hope the thoughtful reflection on these experiences and many other of the failure and success I've had since will allow me to navigate the failures I will inevitably face in Lesotho and ultimately allow me to see the entire experience as a success.
I am so looking forward to every aspect of this experience...failures included.
