Happy Mother's Day

I'm fairly certain that I have the most wonderful mother in the world.

Despite the fact that, one year, I gave her a card on which I wrote, "You're the best mother anybody could ask for with a doubt!" 

Of course, I meant to say WITHOUT a doubt...it's still a big joke around our family that come every Mother's Day.

Back to the point...I am so thankful that I could grow up in the loving arms of my mother.

I can't imagine my life without her.

I'm fairly certain that I'd be lying in a puddle somewhere without her.

As Mother's Day approaches, I want to celebrate, not only my mother, but mothers around the world.

The statistics surrounding maternal mortality are heartbreaking.

When it's so rare that a woman dies in childbirth in the United States, many of us do not realize that so many mothers still do.
