I've been meaning to write this post for a while now...as this trip happened a few weeks ago.
But alas, I am behind on my blogging...I have no great excuse to account for the delay.
Just good ol' fashion slacking.
Okay, now down to business...

Meet Dan and Sheila...members of the Touching Tiny Lives Foundation Board of Directors.
Mother and son...these two have the greatest rapport and one of the most endearing relationship I've seen between mother and son.
Very fun to watch them banter.
Dan was the very first TTLF Fellow here in Mokhotlong and his passion for the children of the country is still very clear.
These two are incredibly generous....I still feel about overwhelmed by all the kindness they showed us during their stay.
Delicious meals...more new kitchen items than I can even remember (prior to their visit our kitchen was, well, a little sad to say the least)...and this get-away to Sani Pass.
Okay, are you ready for this next part?
Below are pictures of one of the GREATEST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN.
Pucketty Farms...just a small little farm-stand on the side of a South African country road.
Taste their brownies (which are called 'Julie's Brownies', by the way) and you'll agree.
What could make Pucketty Farms even better?
Well, a resident cat and dog who were in desperate need of some good petting.
Oh, I can't forget to mention the ice cream!
Yes, we finally got some ice cream...the delicious home-made stuff...so good.
Pucketty Farms is particularly interesting because it works completely on the honor system.
Write down the items you're purchasing in the log book, leave your money and take your change...not a sole present in the stall to make sure you're being honest.
In a country like South Africa that is often security-obsessed, this style of doing business is a rarity...I suppose it is rare really anywhere in the world today.

Overall, it was refreshing weekend away from our little mountain town.
And it was beyond refreshing to spend a week with others who have such passion for TTL's mission.
