Here is something only a few people know about me:
I want to adopt.
No, not right now.
I've just always wanted to adopt a child.
I've heard some adoptive parents call it the "adopting-gene"...it's just a part of who I am.
I think having biological children would be beautiful and wonderful and I hope to do it some day.
But what I really feel in my heart is a need to adopt a child.
One who I can love and can fill my heart with love.
This beautiful video was put together by a boy I knew growing up who now works at an orphanage in Kenya.
It reminds me and reaffirms within me that adoption will be a part of my story someday.
There mothers and fathers out there who want everything for there children but won't be able to give it to them.
But someday I will be there for one of those children and I will give them everything I can.
